It was a hot sunny Saturday in July when I drove the not so retro looking but perhaps retro sounding MG ZS to peruse the creations of the talented Andrew Parker at J.A.M.S. Ironwork whose shop is located in the beautiful Cathedral City of Salisbury in Wiltshire, England.
Andrew produces some very cool industrial lighting which would look great in any retro lovers man cave or living room. The lamps are each crafted from salvaged steel and vintage or industrial materials and are beautifully crafted and finished.
As you would hope the lamps have a new CE and UKCA approved components, lamp holders and flex are UK manufactured.
Andrew’s shop at 18a Winchester Street is close to the centre of Salisbury and not only showcases Andrews’s work but also a selection and modified and reupholstered vintage furniture and Art prints from other talented artists.
The trip ended with me purchasing a lamp which now sits proudly on my desk as I’m writing this. If you are ever in the area you should pop into J.A.M.S. Ironworks shop which is currently only open on Fridays 11.00-18.00 and Saturdays 10.00-17.30, other times by appointment.
